It depends on your dog's breed, hair length and type of coat. For e.g., short hair breeds like Jack Russells vs curly-haired breeds like toy poodles require different levels of maintenance.
As a rule of thumb, Basic Grooming should be done once a month, Full Grooming once every 6-8 weeks.

How long does a grooming session take?

It depends on the breed, size and temperament of your dog during grooming.

Generally, Full Grooming takes 1 - 3 hours while Basic Grooming takes 45 minutes to 90 minutes on weekdays.
On weekends, Full Grooming takes 2-4 hours while Basic Grooming takes 1 - 2 hours.

Fret not as your dog will be having fun socialising with the other paw-trons while waiting for grooming!

What does the Spa do?

  • Deep cleanse and unclog pores even without soap or shampoo.

  • Removes odour with long-lasting effect.

  • Improve health and immunity with enhanced blood circulation.

Why does my dog smell so bad even after a shower?

Your dog's skin has an excessive build-up of Mineral Waste. The skin is an excretory organ and it excretes excess minerals such as calcium and magnesium through sweat. The source of odour is stale fat adhered to minerals excreted from the hair root. No chemical detergents and shampoo could cleanse off mineral waste until now.

How does the Spa help if my dog has no skin problem?

  • Brighter fur coat and more vivid fur colour.

  • Natural ticks and fleas prevention for up to 2 weeks.

  • Volume effect for fur.

Why are normal shampoo and soap harmful to dogs with sensitive skin?

Shampoos and soaps generally contain a lot of chemicals, such as SLS or paraben, and some of which can be very harsh to the skin. Harsh chemicals take away the lipid barrier of the skin or keratin surface, increasing the dermal absorption of chemicals. When these chemicals get absorbed into the body through the skin, the sympathetic nerves are triggered. This causes blood vessels to constrict, lowering blood circulation and causing body temperature to drop. The health of skin and fur is related to how well the blood circulates.
